Karm is a Sanskrit word that means "action". Karm is not about good or bad it simply translates to the things we do. Karma is the concept of moral causation, where one's actions in the present will affect their future experiences and outcomes, either positively or negatively, based on the principle of cause and effect.

Why should you belive in karma ?

Karma is not a belief system, it's a concept, a moral code per say. Lets take an example, have you ever wondered why everyone from our childhood has been told to help the old lady cross the road , or why we are told to do good deeds in general ? No one has ever told us that we will be rewarded for doing that or we will be punished for NOT doing that, so why do we do it ? It comes down to the basic sense of good and bad which is in all of us. Doing good feels right, we don't care if something good will happen to us or not, we just do it because it feels right. Karma is just an extension of this basic sense of good and bad which states that every action (Karm) has a consequence, good or bad.
